Trollbeads offers a large selection of silver beads, bracelets, necklaces & pendants, rings, earrings, and spacers with a lot of variations.

Trollbeads use oxidization for our silver beads to create contrast effects and to give them character. Any piece of jewellery will oxidize if it lies in a box for years. Our process of oxidization is just like the natural tarnish process that air has on silver, but we accelerate the process. Oxidization adds new design possibilities and enables the designers to give the beads a unique look and a lot of depth.

You can customise our jewellery according to your personality and style. Our wide variety of silver beads are designed to be compatible across all types of bracelets, necklaces, rings, and earrings, making them suitable for daily use and for special occasions. Most of our silver jewellery can also be custom made in gold.

Most silver Trollbeads are modelled using the so-called 'cire perdu' or 'lost wax' method. This 3000 year old technique allows for fine details to be reproduced from wax to precious metals. First, the design is sculptured in wax. Next step is the casting process, which begins with a plaster model. The wax is then melted out and silver is replaced. After, the silver bead is cooled and removed from the cast.

The cleaning process begins, to make the bead ready for oxidization. The oxidized bead is now washed and polished in a tumbler. The silver prototype is finished, and a new bead is born.
